New Site Offers Consumers Unbiased Look at Training Programs

A new website offering a source for unbiased information on continuing education and training programs has been launched.

The site, www.ContinuingEducationAssociation.org, will offer comparative information on a number of education and training sites, across a number professional fields and personal improvement categories.

“The idea was to create a site for people to go to learn more about the training options available to them,” says Malcolm Winton, Director of the Continuing Education Association. “We plan to add a number of features over the next 18 months; a program rating system, user feedback forum, news and press release repository, to name a few.”

The Continuing Education Association was created by training and education professionals to help users better understand their options.  A number of select training oranizations were added to the site by the association, however, future additions will be made by the firms offering the training themselves.

“It’s something we will be monitoring closely,” says Winton.  “We openly invite firms to add their information to our site free of charge.  However, we do plan to rigorously enforce our guidelines to ensure that misleading information does not negatively affect our users’ experiences.”
